I love goat faces.
I love goats.
I have a goat face.
But I have to admit, the one I created this week was a bit of a pain.
I was having a really bad day and I was feeling like a complete loser, so I decided to go with the next best thing: the grumpy goats.
The first thing I did was take a photo of myself with a pair of my goat faces in the background.
The goat’s face on the left is from my new book, Goat Faces: A Memoir, and the goat’s on the right is from a goat I rescued from a barn in the middle of nowhere.
Then I took the photo and decided to add my face onto it.
I went with a goat’s mouth and nose, as it was a simple design.
Next, I used the “bounce” feature on Photoshop to add a bit more texture to the goat face: I just pushed a few layers to the right of the photo.
I added a small amount of my face and a few random hairs in between to give it a little extra texture.
Finally, I made some eyeliner with my makeup brush and applied it to my goat face with the eyeliner.
Here’s a quick video I made of the whole process.
When I started, I had a lot of goat faces on my desk and it took a lot longer than I expected.
However, as the day went on, the goat faces got more and more interesting, so now I have more than enough goat faces to put on my shelf.
I can’t wait to make more goat faces for my bookshelf.
