How much do we spend each year?
According to the Office for National Statistics, the average British household spends around £6,500 on the holidays in 2018, and £8,000 on the average overseas visitor.
The average Britons weekly holiday budget is £1,200.
On average, we spend £1.8m in 2017, a 6.4% increase on the previous year.
